Teaching young girls the POWER of self love has been an Inspirational journey for me, as it daily reminds me of my WORTH too and how important it is not to COMPROMISE on my God-given VALUES! There’s power in love; knowing yourself and fulfilling your purpose.
A young girl must be taught self-love, confidence and humility. The ability to appreciate herself and stand up for whatever she believes in. The ability to say NO when necessary and the boldness to say YES to every needful opportunity. Self-empowerment is key to PROGRESS. Becoming the shoulder young girls can lean on and feel safe and impacted has exposed me in discovery my strength as a young woman too.
~When the girl child is empowered, she knows her strength, capabilities, skills, talents and gain in depth knowledge and wisdom on how people should treat her!
~She refuses to be used and dumped but stands confidently for herself, walking in integrity and moving away from negative people.
~She values herself to the extent she won’t do anything to hurt her dreams and aspirations!
~She’s able to make wise decisions that will shape her life positively and the countless people she encounters .
This world would be a better place if many young girls are empowered positively. Teenage pregnancy will become history and young girls will become efficient in the society, contributing their quota to national and world development!
I challenge y’all to do your best to empower the girl -child wherever you find yourself! Teach them what’s good, pure and divine! She might not be your daughter, sister or niece BUT she MATTERS in this world! Once you ignore her and she turns bad, she affects millions of lives negatively too! Be a mentor to everyone, love and appreciate people even outside your country, tribe, religion and race. #timewithprissy
