Today is Christmas, the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ. We can't celebrate Christmas without Christ because He is the sole reason for this celebration and our lives. How's your day going?

On this day , I want you to reflect on your life, how gracious, kind, merciful and kind God has been unto you! Also, check your personal fellowship with Him, if it is stale, rekindle the fire of fellowship with Him!

Let's allow Christ to lead us always. Rest in His love.

Be Careful Who You Give Your HEART To !

It's a beautiful day peeps, focus on today and plan ahead always.

Relationship is a journey to the land of marriage which involves commitment and responsibility. Due to this, not every guy/lady is qualified for this journey because some have made up their minds not to marry or to commit to one lady/gentleman. 

In view of this , you have to be vigilant and careful in your choice of guy/lady to start this journey with. If you detect he/she is irresponsible and not committed, it's a sign of unreadiness on their part, meaning he/she is in for fun and not for the purpose of the journey.

 Any guy/lady who is not ready to commit is unworthy of a relationship. Never entertain such people or else you will end up heartbroken and time wasted! If they are not ready for a commitment, it is better for them to be single than be in a relationship and waste others time. It is even serious and sad when a lady gives out her precious body to an uncommitted guy , who uses and later dumps her.

RESPECT Is a Virtue

Respect is key in relationships, the basic element on which every relationship thrives. Without it, all the elements required for a successful relationship aren't important since a relationship cannot be forced to thrive without respect. 

From an architectural perspective, respect is likened to the foundation of a building, without the foundation (respect), there is no (strong) building (lasting relationship). So many relationships have broken up due to lack of respect. 

Respect means recognizing your own worth and the worth of others. When you respect your partner, it builds a strong lasting relationship.

The mistakes of the OLD

Hello peeps, it's a new day, live it, love it !

David's plea

Right from birth women were taught how to treat a man; words to utter and words not to throw out. What about men? Were they taught how to treat a woman? Hell No!

I quite remember as a child growing up, my mum will always tell my sisters "don't say that, he is a man! A woman shouldn't say that to a man" but there was never a time I raised my hands on my sisters or even abused them verbally that mum said "don't do that, that's not how to treat a woman ". Men had their way right from birth and now has brought about irresponsible men in the world. 

Daddy will come home drunk, demanding for food and sometimes throw the food away but my grandparents never cautioned him or even rebuked his acts. I always remember what they told mum "he is the man, he is at liberty to drink what he wants" when mum complained about his drunkenness. 

The mistakes of the old was their failure to train men on how to treat a woman . They denied us the power to become better men in serving and honoring our women. 

I would eat, put the plate in the washing sink and leave but mum won't say anything. But anytime my sister did the same thing, mum would say "a lady doesn't leave her plate uncleaned , go and clean it. Men had been lazy since infancy, never swept, washed or even mobbed. All we hear was "it's the work of a woman" so men don't know how to take care of the home, leaving it dirty and unorganized. 

The mistakes of the old have had an adverse effect on men. Men struggle with handling women and even the house. Women were taught everything, not men! 

It's my plea because I wish I knew how to treat a woman, how to organize my home and take good care of my kids. Women suffer a lot in the hands of men because men don't know how to treat them, they were denied that knowledge and wisdom. 

Some resorted in learning how to treat women through books, social media and all kinds of movies. 

Men we need to awake from our mess and learn how to treat women. I am learning from the Bible how Abraham treated Sarah, how Isaac treated Rebecca, so wonderful, loving and amazing! Can we treat our women with respect, dignity and honour? I am asking all men to learn from the best and be the best! #timewithPrissy 

Stucked but FREE

We live in a world where people change partners as easily as they change shoes. People shop for relationships just as they shop for clothes. Looks for his/her size, if it doesn't fit, drops it but even if they find their sizes, they use for a while and drop it when it is no more fashionable. 

Are you really yearning for a relationship?  What is your motive in finding a partner?  Gentleman, Adam was busy carrying out his purpose before Eve came, have you discovered yours?  My ladies, Eve was in God before presented to Adam, have you already been made an help meet for that man who will find you? 

Being alone is lonely, that's why people decide to pair up  but you should understand as much as two people can mean a beautiful relationship, the same way being alone can also mean the same. You will only be able to see the things close to you when you are alone.  Although all of us need to be in love, we must give ourselves time to be in a relationship with ourselves.  Do something, each day perform one thing that you have never done before, go against your normal habits to do something. Walk on a road that you have never walked before, watch the world in a different direction. This world will look different after changing these habits a little. Change one habit each day. "It was just a month into the relationship, and just like a magnet attracts pins so was my lover to me. I had vowed not to touch the forbidden fruit until marriage but hmmmmm some way somehow it happened once and it continued until i had maximized my utility. Finally,  we broke up because I'd had enough of her. She didn't attract me anymore " Kelvin

"We had agreed not to have sex until marriage.Body they say "no be firewood" so of course, we cant do without the caressing, fondling, kissing. But after every romantic affair i felt soo guilty I had allowed a guy to touch me . I always knew it didn't make the relationship pure in the sight of God, lo and behold , we broke up" Gifty .

After a wonderful chat with these wonderful people, I realized how relationship has lost its main significance and importance.

One thing the youth should note is this " Relationship is not marriage(which includes romance and sex)." Romance and sex ignites the marriage, making it pleasurable as they satisfy their sexual needs" BUT relationship is for discovery, the stage in your life where you stick to one lady or gentleman , study their life (character, abilities, purpose etc) and make a decision to commit to them for the rest of your life; the gateway to marriage. 

As a Christian , your relationship must be pure and holy, pleasing in the eyes of God. Anything God hates, shouldn't be practised in your relationship . If you find the lady or gentleman attractive enough to the point it arouses your sexual desire, then stop entertaining each other in the closure, go out, stay in the open and have a healthy time . 

After sex in a relationship, it becomes easy sometimes to overlook what you don't like and can't tolerate since a covenant has already been established. Then as it leads to marriage , couples start to complain about the same things they ignored whiles in the relationship. 

Kissing, cuddling among others without sex is still immoral in a relationship since it leads to the main act called sex and not pleasing in the eyes of God ! #Abstain #timewithPrissy @campustodaynews.com

Have you been in love with the wrong lady/guy before ? How was the experience? Oh mehnn I guess it wasn't nice right ? You felt like being drowned in water and suffocating? The bad nut! 

Have you ever wondered why most relationships don't survive offlate? Why many break ups and countless broken hearts ? Relationship has lost its meaning and significance, it has become a game people play , whether it will work or not . 

Human beings have become more users than lovers. They use people than love them that's why you need to be vigilant the kind of person you are giving all your time to. Is he or she worth your time , love and care ? Wrong relationships drain you, makes you unhappy and unworthy of yourself! 

People have lose the fear of God , therefore freely without conviction hurt people easily! The fear of God constrain us from doing evil but our world has been prone to wickedness because many people don't revere God anymore .  

If relationships can work and produce good fruits , we need to go back to our foundation , Christ Jesus ! The motive backing every relationship is very important! 

What's your motive of been in a relationship ? Your motive will either make you a user or a lover ! Love people, don't use them for your benefits !

The WOMB

Hey peeps, live life to the fullest, stay away from toxic people!

How happy you always are, seeing mothers carrying their babies ! How happy you will be when you finally conceive! Oh I know , that excitement of finally becoming a mother ! 

But does all these imaginations and expectations qualify a person to be ready for motherhood? Is motherhood only about giving birth? 

To be a mother , takes a lot! It requires sacrifice , patience and much love! The ability to forgo what you like at the expense of yours, body changes , sleepless nights among others .

Motherhood is a responsibility, and a blessing too but to give birth unprepared is a burden ! Be ready for it , spiritually, physically , emotionally and financially. Think about that child's future and make a good decision . If you can't make life better for that child, then wait ! You need to define yourself or else people will define you and you might accept their definition of you! It's very important as an individual to know who you are and where you are going in this life ! 

The ability to know yourself is a sure way of discovering your destiny and living a life of fulfillment. It helps you in making great decisions that ends in great outcomes.  

As you discover your purpose, likes and dislikes, what you can and can't tolerate, the kind of man or woman you can spend the rest of your life with, you won't move from one relationship to another easily , relationships won't become like shoes which you easily change often.

It's a lovely day peeps, make it count.

After a powerful service,  a lady approached me and asked , "timewithprissy,  please when is the right time to be in a relationship?

I sighed! wondering why i sighed? Actually it is because most of the youth have a misconception about when to start a relationship and this has resulted in many lives being ruined. This was my reply to her question:the issue is not when to date whether today or tomorrow but it's about

" does he have similar purpose like yours?

 "*is he worth your price* ? 

*Is he worth your happiness?

*Can he give you a peaceful home ?*

Can he protect and make you safe ?

Is he spiritually, financially and physically matured to handle the family?

Are you overwhelmed by my answer ?............The truth is all these virtues count because marriage is a life time . Knowledge and wisdom is very important when you want to embark on this long journey. Get to know before you start . Give yourself time to understand what you want to get yourself into before you even make plans to accept him . 

It is unfortunate that we are always blind to this aspect because we mostly concentrate on our emotions. The water in the pipe we never tap from!

Fake PASTORS, False PROPHETS_ REPENT!!!

Hey peeps, sunny day

I'm so tired of the alarming rates of Fake and false pastors/prophets in the country. Stop tarnishing the image of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you're into ministry because of money and fame, then kindly resign. Ministry is love; the passion to win souls and help people who are in need and to spread the word of God to the ends of the earth. The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but it's about righteousness and the demonstration of God's power to set the captives free, healing the sick, providing for the needy, teaching and guiding people to make Godly choices and decisions in life, and spreading the Gospel . 

Christians have become lazy , always seeking for fast ways and means to solve their problems thereby increasing fake pastors and prophets who perform ungodly miracles just to seek attention, fame and money, making people speak foolishly about the name of Jesus. Let me make this clear, a Christian is not someone who just attends church on Sunday or midweek service on Wednesday or Thursday but  also, is the one who fears God, obeys His Word and walks in integrity of the Lord's path. Now to say I'm a Christian has become common like water we drink, no respect or value attached to it due to how some church goers tarnish the image of Jesus! If you're a Christian, people must see Christ in you , your daily life must reflect Jesus ! 

All false prophets prophesying in the name of Jesus must repent and walk in righteousness for your days are numbered, no one mocks the name of Jesus and lives freely without consequences. If God didn't spare the Prophets of old when they made mistakes, then be rest assured , the blood of Jesus won't be in vain and can't be disrespected like that ! Repent false prophets and fake pastors, for your days are numbered, nobody makes mockery of the name of Jesus!

The body of Christ must walk in uprightness of heart, mind, soul and body ! Stop being lazy, read, study the word to show yourself approved! Let the Word of God be enough for your life, than chasing these false prophets who prophesy outrageously with the kind of smaller gods they secretly worship! 

Thou shall not mention the name of the Lord in vain! If the body of Christ will commune and personally have fellowship with God by spending time with God in prayer, studying of the Bible and worship, then they will be able to discern the times and seasons we are in and clearly see beyond to shun false prophets. "Prophets pray for me" is becoming too much. When you spend time with God, you will clearly hear HIM! Christians, arise and shine for the Glory of God is risen upon you !

"What will people say"

Hello peeps, it's a beautiful day, enjoy!

Have you ever thought of doing something but immediately got nervous the moment this thought crossed your mind "what will people say"? It slows you and at the end, you never go ahead with what you wanted to do . A lot of dreams and goals have been killed by this thought, a lot of potentials buried and many people living in fear because we are constantly afraid of "what people will say" . 

Nevertheless, those who have burned these bridges have achieved uncountable successes, outstanding legacies and are been celebrated by the world. I'm not sure if President Nana Akuffo Addo, Mark Zuckerberg, late Dr Martin Luther King , among others had allowed that thought " what will people say" to overshadow them , they would have made this outstanding impacts in this world and even our lives. 

Don't give people too much power over your life. Whatever you do, people will always have something to say about it, therefore go ahead and achieve your dreams. They would initially ask " why are you doing it " which will scare you but once God approves of it , go ahead and later, those same people who asked "why are you doing it " will finally ask " how did you do it" so they can copy too. 

"What will people say " has closed a lot of fertile wombs from birthing out destinies and potentials. Move pass this thought and your life will never be the same. When I wanted to launch my first book, I was so afraid of " what people will say" but I went ahead anyways. After it was publicly known, a lot of people called to congratulate me, with others saying " you're bold and courageous " 

Until you overcome this fear, you will never live!

Hello peeps_your gal is back

The simplest definition for relationship per my understanding is the “state of connection or been connected”. You don’t begin a relationship with someone unless you are already connected to the person. You relate with your family because there is already a “blood connection”; you relate with your friends because of “common interest connection” as well as you relate with God due to “Spirit connection”. Finally, you relate with boyfriend/girlfriend or husband /wife due to “purpose connection” therefore you need to discover the “agent of connection” before the relationship can start.

The question is “what connects you to that man/woman? If you realize that, what connects you and the person you have interest in is other than PURPOSE, then that cannot lead to marriage in a Godly function. The only connection that leads to being husband/wife is Purpose so before you even decide to begin a relationship that leads to marriage, you first need to know your purpose, your need to know the timing for your purpose and relationship- get your timing right.

Chronicle of LOVE

heyaaaa.... a glorious day, beautiful morning, make it count !

I have come to the realization that people are not willing to sacrifice, forgive, let go their egos, tolerate one another but always in a rush to be in a relationship/marriage. They only recite 1Corinthians 13 but refuse to work hard towards those virtues that sustain and keep relationships/marriages.

When growing up, if a person will say " I love you" the person had to wait and study the individual in question to fully believe he/she is in love with him/her before uttering it out but now, people say it without meaning. It has become a daily water we drink.

 
This 21st Century ladies/gentlemen are not responsible and goal oriented, most seek for pleasure and fun, no purpose at all. They will rather chase ladies/guys than PURPOSE! It's high time this generation change and become responsible for every action they take.

 
Love is not to be toyed with. If you can't sacrifice, let go your ego, and forgive, it is better for such a person to be Alone&Single! Love is only real when people are willing to make it work upon all the odds, when people understand and accept what they are getting themselves into. Let your love have a good meaning; be in the relationship/marriage because you understand what it means to love a person and be loved back!

Many people don't consider "prayer" in their choice of spouse. They see it to be unnecessary and later, when the marriage and relationship break down, they begin to blame God for their misfortune.
Prayer is very important in one's life and as such you need a man who has dedicated his life to God. There is a divine order for everything on earth. 

The man is the spiritual head, a man that prays is convicted in his spirit anytime he is about to do something bad. A man that prays, very discipline, committed to whatever he does and fears God will never play you and his life is purposeful.
Don't just marry or be in a relationship with any man, be with the one who has God as his spiritual covering.

Accept a man that prays than the one who will play you because he has enticed himself in worldly pleasures. A man that is a player has conformed to the standards of the world, finds pleasure in the world and will never take you far in life.
