Who Am I & What Was I Made For?- Deaconess Eunice

hey peeps...it's been a while, still having problem with my internet connection. stay blessed

I am a man created by God in His own image and likeness. Just like man makes something to serve a particular purpose or function, so are we made to serve a particular purpose or function and as such, we are supposed to serve that purpose for which we are made for.
One cannot get to know the purpose of something he/she has never seen before or heard of but can actually make a guess. The guess might be right or wrong. One can really know the purpose of something he/she has never come across by reading the manual of that product and not just any manual but the manual that comes with that particular product, likewise the manual for man is the Bible.

Get to know your purpose by reading your manual. It is interesting how people go back for the manual of a product after so many times(years) of using that product just because they realize that there is a particular section or part they have never used before or at times wonder what that part is used for. And the only way, must be to go back for the manual and then get to know the use of that part or section. But because they want to use that part, they go in for the manual and find out and get to make use of that, which was not in use earlier.

So is a man, we never get to know in full what we really are meant for at once, but in parts and get to know more as we continue to read the manual of man(Bible). As each day passes and we continue to read the manual, so do we get to know more of what we can do (purpose) and some of the things that we should avoid coming in contact with. Just as a manual would state do not use this product near/ close to an open fire or flame, so will the Bible which is our manual state to us the things to avoid. That is the dos and don’ts of using a product, so are men.

We mostly forget that we are products of someone (God) and that, we should serve the purpose (that is reconciling the world to Him) for which we were made for. We should always serve the purpose or function in the way the manufacturer (God) made us to. It is not the case that we can only serve one purpose here on earth but there are several things we can do.

Just like a rice cooker, although it is basically made to cook rice but when yam is placed in it boils it just as the way a cooking pot would do. Which means, there are other things which we can do, but that does not mean that, that is our field. That is to say we have our specialty, because the purpose of the rice cooker is to cook only rice, not yam. Meaning, we can open up ourselves to help in other things we know we can after we are done with our main purpose.

Moreover, we should also know that, is not everything that we can do, some things can also destroy us totally therefore it should not be everything that we should give up ourselves to. Just as corn cannot be milled in a blender, so are we not to put loads not meant for us on ourselves or in to us. In this instance, after trying so many times the blender although might try to blend the corn but it would not be successful and at the long run the blade would be come blunt and might even damage the whole blender in the end.

The corn would not be as expected even after the blender might be useful again. Let’s not be as this scenario therefore care should be taken in everything we do because there is a purpose for which we are made for and there are things that should be avoided so as to serve our purposes in full, not in parts.
always remember God first-stay blessed
