Oooops is broken heart real? Have you experienced it before?
Lol. Well I have experienced it before and it was terrible. 2012 was my worst
year but I learnt my lesson through that. Broken heart is very broad, it could
be from relationships, family and friends but I want to emphasize more on
relationships.
I know some people have been betrayed,
deceived and abandoned but I want to tell you that is not the end of your life.
It’s painful, very sad but don’t allow that to destroy your life. Your life is
important, God has given it to you so don’t allow your broken-heart to lead you
to destruction.
I was once reading Bob Gass book
entitled “Discovering your destiny: find out what you were born to be” and he
said something in his book that inspired me to get over my pain. He said and I
quote
“Bitterness is like a chain around the neck of your potential; choking the life
out of your freedom and joy, and making even the sweet taste of success turn
sour in your mouth. Maybe you’ve been hurt, and you’re saying I’ll never
forgive them unless they admit that they’ve done and ask for my forgiveness;
what if they never do? Why should your happiness depend on their ability to do
what’s right- especially if they’re not in the habit of doing it? You’re giving
them too much power!
These words struck my heart that day
and I decided to free my heart from the bondage it was in. I forgave him in my
heart but decided not to talk to him again.
You might be in the same situation I
experienced or worse than what I went through but I’m asking you this question
“Is it worth for you to destroy your life because of
him/her? Does he/she deserve your love? Is his failing love so important than
the life you have? After answering these questions, you’ll know
that he/she doesn’t deserve the pain, tears and sorrows you’re going through.
You can be healed if only you are willing to let go. I let go and am free, can
you do the same? Heal my broken
