I’m
Patricia, a level 300 student at the University of Cape Coast offering Business
In Administration. I’m in a relationship dilemma and I don’t know what to do.
I’ve found myself on a path I never thought of. Nhyira, I’m currently in two
relationships which are unintentional.
My
first guy, I’ve been in a relationship with him for the past four years, he has
introduced me to his parents and they really like me: always checking up on me.
Unfortunately, when I got to level 200, I met a guy on campus who became my
friend. We became very close and I felt like he was filling the distance
between Kelvin (first guy) and I. Kelvin and I, sake of the distance between us
now, since he is in a different school and town, has made the relationship to
be only phone calls and Skype.
Due
to this, my closure with Daniel (second guy) made me to fall for him and we’ve
been dating for a year now without Kelvin’s notice. I think I don’t love Kelvin
anymore but I’m not sure if it’s because of the distance between us now. I’ve
been with Daniel for a year now but he is also immature since it is his first
relationship so I’m always correcting him and he keeps repeating his mistakes’
which is taking a toll on me.
Nhyira,
I’m confused, disturbed and uncomfortable cheating on Kelvin. I want to inform
him of what I’ve been doing but I’m afraid he will be hurt since we’ve been
first lovers for long and I lied to Daniel I’ve broken up Kelvin. What should I
do?
